About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Operations Manager to join our team at Bromsgrove District Housing Trust. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the management of our gas delivery service, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality services that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Line manage a team of qualified gas engineers, multi-skilled trades operatives, and a gas scheduler, taking responsibility for decision-making and operational management.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to deliver our domestic and gas commercial servicing program and general gas and multi-trade repairs, including a gas out-of-hours service.
  • Ensure customer care is central to all activities, maintaining high standards and communicating effectively with our diverse customer base.
  • Work closely with our housing management system to produce and validate the annual gas servicing program and schedule appointments.
  • Provide written reports to the Senior Management Group, maintaining and presenting statistical records for reporting.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous management or supervisory experience, or be willing to take on a management role.Experience working within a gas delivery service, ideally within the social housing sector, and an understanding of gas compliance responsibilities.A gas management qualification (NVQ level 3 in gas management or similar) or be willing to achieve this within the first 2 years.The following Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT CKR1, HRT1.A passion for providing excellent customer service, tailored to meet the needs of a diverse client base.A current full driving license and access to a vehicle.
