Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Bristol Eastgate. As a key member of the store management team, you'll be responsible for leading the store in the absence of the Store Manager and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the store team in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional customer experiences.
  2. Contribute to the development and implementation of store strategies, focusing on sales growth, customer satisfaction, and team engagement.
  3. Manage stock control, recruitment, and store standards, ensuring a high level of operational efficiency.
  4. Collaborate with the Store Manager to empower the team to maximize sales and performance across key performance indicators (KPIs).
  5. Inspire and motivate the team to create a fantastic shopping and working environment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  1. Experience in the retail sector with a minimum of 1 year's management experience.
  2. Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern across 7 days a week.
  3. Passion for retail and a proven track record of delivering high standards and great results.
  4. Ability to take on 6 months of industry-leading training covering key aspects of the role, customer service, and health and safety.
