Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Teacher to join our team at Bradford Council. As a Teacher of the Deaf, you will play a vital role in supporting deaf children and their families in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with special school teachers, early years settings, and parents/carers to develop and implement effective approaches and provision for deaf children with additional needs.
  • Utilize your expertise to optimize outcomes for deaf children with complex needs by planning, assessing, teaching, training, and supporting staff.
  • Provide balanced, unbiased support and advice to families, empowering them to make informed decisions for their deaf children.
  • Work in partnership with other agencies involved in services to deaf children.
