Rochdale Borough Council is embarking on a transformative journey, and we are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as a Dual Registered Manager. This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the future of our children's homes and make a lasting impact on the lives of our young people.

As a Dual Registered Manager, you will be responsible for managing two of our new children's homes, each providing care and support for 3 children and young people. You will lead on the registration process with Ofsted and work closely with an Assistant Manager in each home to ensure the highest standards of care.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of the needs of vulnerable children and young people. You will be responsible for developing and implementing care plans, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our children and young people. You will be a positive role model, providing guidance and support to your team, and working collaboratively with other stakeholders to achieve our goals.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in residential care, with experience of managing staff and implementing care plans. You will hold a relevant qualification, such as NVQ/Diploma Level 3 Working with Children and Young People, and have a proven track record of leadership and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage two children's homes, each providing care and support for 3 children and young people
  • Lead on the registration process with Ofsted

Requirements:

  • Strong background in residential care
  • Experience of managing staff and implementing care plans
  • Relevant qualification, such as NVQ/Diploma Level 3 Working with Children and Young People
  • Proven track record of leadership and management
