About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to fill the position of Dual Registered Manager, responsible for managing two of our new Children's Homes in Rochdale. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people aged 8-17.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage two Children's Homes, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead on the care and support of 6 children and young people, promoting their emotional health and wellbeing.
  • Develop and implement effective systems and processes to ensure the smooth operation of the homes.
  • Supervise and support a team of workers, including Assistant Managers and Residential Child Care Workers.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Working with Children and Young People (NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Experience in a relevant role, including management and supervision of workers in a care setting.
  • Ability to register with Ofsted and lead on the registration process for the homes.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and staff.
