About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Eithinog, a home for adults with physical disabilities. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
- Escort and assist residents in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
- Support our Person-Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence for our customers and helping to achieve individual aspirations.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records.
Requirements:
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families.
- Ideal experience in personal care (not essential). Ability to work under pressure and as a team.
- Flexibility to work within rostered hours and prepared to participate in an on-call rota where required.
