About the Role

The Harbour Hotels Group is recruiting for a Revenue Analyst to join their team at Harbour House in Christchurch.

This is a full-time role, offering a salary of up to £42,000 per annum depending on experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the hotel management team in all matters related to hotel revenue and costs, debtors, and creditors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support Hotel Management in regular forecasting.
  • Good understanding of the hotel financials including revenue and cost analysis.
  • Support the Financial Controller to help create and analyse annual budgets for the hotels.
  • Play a key role in understanding and controlling costs.
  • Prepare and analyse the monthly hotel accounts and management accounts on deadline
  • Reconciling key control accounts on Sage across the group and resolving any discrepancies or anomalies
  • Reconcile intercompany balances and post necessary journals
  • Completing VAT and insurance returns
  • Act as the first point of contact for any reporting and accounting queries.
  • Assisting with any software problems as the group super user across the key software systems
  • To carry out ad-hoc project work

Key Skills

The ideal candidate will have strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel.

A hands-on, self-motivated, and proactive nature is essential for this role.

Excellent attention to detail, being detailed orientated, and analytical with strong communication skills are also required.

Strong problem-solving abilities are crucial for this position.
