Job Summary:
Hunter Selection is seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join our client's team in a leading packaging manufacturing company. As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance, PPMs, and repairs on high-speed production and packaging machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, repairs, and PPMs on production and packaging machinery
- Work on a variety of high-speed production and packaging machinery, conveyors, automation, and controls
- Participate in a close-knit team that is growing and developing
- Assist in developing new PPMs and helping with the new asset care management systems
- Project work - new machine installs, upgrades, and continuous improvement work
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a maintenance engineering position
- Time-served apprenticeship
- Hold both electrical and mechanical qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment - FMCG, food, packaging, automation
- Experience with PLCs, motors, drives, automation systems
- Previously worked in a strongly preventative maintenance environment
