Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Research Nurse to join our team in the Clinical Research Department at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a passion for clinical research.

About the Role

The Clinical Research Nurse will be responsible for coordinating and supporting a range of clinical trials, including local academic studies and international multi-centre commercial clinical trials. This will involve recruitment and follow-up of clinical trial participants, maintaining national monitoring standards, and adhering to the principles of Good Clinical Practice in research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support clinical trials, including recruitment and follow-up of participants
  • Maintain national monitoring standards and adhere to Good Clinical Practice
  • Work collaboratively with the research team to ensure the smooth delivery of clinical trials
  • Provide excellent professional and clinical leadership to promote the effective delivery of nursing care for research participants
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in nursing and a passion for clinical research. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Registered Nurse qualification
  • Degree Level or relevant experience within portfolio specialities
  • Experience in clinical research or a willingness to learn
