Inventory Manager

A leading commercial vehicles manufacturer is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee the parts department in their Farnborough facility. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing parts advisors and implementing customer-focused initiatives to drive business growth.
About the Role
Manage a team of parts advisors to ensure excellent customer service and timely issue resolution
Lead the implementation of customer follow-up calls to maintain strong relationships with customers
Collaborate with the Service Manager on any variances or issues related to vehicle orders
Monitor and chase back orders to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize delays
Conduct regular stock reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
Organize rolling stock takes to ensure accurate inventory levels and report findings
Manage negative stock levels and implement strategies to reduce waste
Requirements
Proven experience in inventory management or parts control
Knowledge of commercial vehicles and parts or automotive industry preferred
Parts stock control qualification desirable
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Computer literacy with Excel knowledge
Fleet driver's license (FLT) required
