We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team at Ackerman Pierce Ltd. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable children and families within our Looked After Children's Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective pathway plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for children in care.
  • Attend Adoption Panels and contribute to the decision-making process.
  • Manage complex cases, including Section 20 care orders and Court Reports.
  • Participate in LAC Reviews and provide expert advice to ensure the best interests of the child.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Post-qualifying experience of working as a Qualified Social Worker in a Looked After Children Team within the UK Social Care industry.
  • Registration with the Social Work England (SWE) and a minimum of 1-2 years of post-qualifying experience.
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB clearance (we can assist with the application process).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
