About the Role:

At Samuel and Co, we are seeking a skilled Lettings Negotiator to support our Lettings department in West Bromwich. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Lettings and be up to date with Lettings legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist clients in renting properties, providing exceptional customer service throughout the rental process.
  2. Conduct property viewings and provide detailed information to potential tenants, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  3. Negotiate offers and terms of rental agreements, utilising strong organisational skills to manage multiple clients and properties simultaneously.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with clients to generate leads and referrals, fostering a positive and professional environment.
  5. Market properties through various channels, including online listings and social media platforms, to maximise exposure and attract potential tenants.
  6. Coordinate property inspections and appraisals, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and up to date.
  7. Prepare contracts, leases, and other necessary documentation, demonstrating attention to detail and organisational skills.
  8. Deal with incoming calls as appropriate, handling Landlord and Tenant enquiries/concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
  9. Stay up to date with company policies, legislative requirements, company directives, and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practice.
  10. Assist the Head Lettings Negotiator in maximising overall income and profitability of the branch.

Requirements:

  1. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple clients and properties simultaneously.
  2. Fluency in multiple languages to effectively communicate with a diverse clientele.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Proficient in administrative tasks such as record keeping and document preparation.
  6. Knowledge of the local real estate market and regulations is preferred but not required.
  7. UK Clean driving license and own vehicle is a must.
