Job Description

About the Role

Bouygues UK is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team on the Oriel project. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a pioneering eye care, research, and education centre in London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop detailed electrical project plans and timelines.
  • Conduct site surveys, evaluate electrical programme activities, and determine equipment and materials required.
  • Supervise and monitor progress of the M&E subcontractors to ensure quality, health and safety, and programme requirements are met.
  • Assist in the design and layout of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and communication systems.

Requirements

  • Experience in consulting engineering and/or contracting.
  • Understanding of coordination and quality assurance throughout each phase of installation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Safety Consciousness: A strong commitment to safety is crucial for an Electrical Site Engineer.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Managing multiple tasks, prioritizing work, and meeting deadlines are essential for an Electrical Site Engineer.
  • SMST and Continuing Professional Learning (CPD/Training) are also required.
