Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team at Critical Project Resourcing Ltd. As an Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting surveys of low and high-rise buildings, preparing comprehensive reports, and performing inspections to ensure electrical installations meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough surveys of electrical installations in domestic and residential buildings, identifying potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports, including Condition Reports and Feasibility Reports, to document findings and recommendations.
  • Perform on-site inspections to ensure electrical works are completed to a high standard, recording progress and highlighting any issues.
  • Liaise with Project Managers and/or Project Engineers to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with residents, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure quality and standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee the handover process, including soft landings to Repairs & Maintenance, to ensure a smooth transition.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds (Level 3) or equivalent qualification in electrical installations.
  • IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with extensive knowledge of electrical installations in domestic and residential buildings.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Packages (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Microsoft Teams.
