Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at Connect2Luton, a recruitment managed service for contingent temporary agency, contract, and interim roles at Luton Borough Council.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager: Collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain key action and improvement plans, liaising with key managers across the service.
- Conduct Research and Analysis: Undertake discovery and analysis across the service to inform the improvement programme, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Monitor Regulatory Findings: Analyze Housing Ombudsman findings, including maladministration and severe maladministration cases, and communicate implications to the housing service.
- Develop and Maintain Policies: Create and maintain a database of policies and procedures for the housing service, ensuring regular updates and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage Evidence and Compliance: Oversee a database of evidence from across the service, ensuring compliance with the Regulatory Standards, Consumer Standards, and Housing Ombudsman Spotlight Reports.
- Communicate with Stakeholders: Prepare updates and communications for various audiences, including residents, on regulatory matters, inspection findings, and Housing Ombudsman reports.
