Compliance Officer

Connect2Luton is seeking a skilled Compliance Officer to join their team. As a key member of the housing service, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Project Manager in maintaining key action and improvement plans, collaborating with key managers across the service.
  2. Conduct discovery and analysis across the service to inform the improvement programme.
  3. Research best practices and RSH inspection findings, making recommendations based on the results.
  4. Monitor Housing Ombudsman findings, including maladministration and severe maladministration cases, and communicate these findings and implications to the housing service.
  5. Assist in identifying training needs across the service and arranging training where necessary, promoting cultural change.
  6. Develop and maintain a database of policies and procedures for the housing service, including a schedule of regular updates.
  7. Manage a database of evidence from across the service to support RSH and Consumer Standards compliance, as well as Housing Ombudsman Spotlight Reports.
  8. Prepare updates and communications for various audiences across housing services, including residents, on regulation, inspection, and Housing Ombudsman findings on behalf of the Project Manager.
