Yard Worker

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Yardperson / Labourer to join our team at Eriez. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and equipment throughout our plant and yard.

• Transportation: Safely transport equipment and supplies throughout the plant and yard, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Yard Maintenance: Maintain a clean and tidy yard, handling and moving materials and equipment as required.
• Loading and Unloading: Load and unload delivery and collection vehicles, verifying delivery quantities and descriptions against supplier notes.
• Storage and Delivery: Ensure materials are stored in correct locations and delivered to production bays as required.
• Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Site Security: Maintain site security by ensuring gates remain closed and vehicles are locked up at the end of the working day.
• Stock Takes: Assist with stock takes and other duties as required.

• FLT Counterbalance License: Hold a current FLT Counterbalance license.
• Physical Fitness: Be physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks if required.
• Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Initiative: Be able to work on own initiative and take responsibility for tasks.
