Executive Chef

About the Role:

As a Head Chef at HC One, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents. You will be expected to manage the kitchen operations, including food stock management, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with nutrition standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of residents
• Manage food stock, including ordering and inventory control
• Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of residents
• Ensure compliance with nutrition standards and food safety regulations
• Manage kitchen budgets and resources
• Lead by example, demonstrating a positive and supportive attitude towards colleagues and residents

Requirements:

• S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery
• Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
