We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at HC-One. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the First Chef in the preparation and presentation of nutritious and healthy meals
- Manage food stock and inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Supervise kitchen staff and provide coaching and guidance as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
- Excellent understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassion and empathy for residents with dementia and other care needs
