About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at HC-One. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the First Chef in the preparation and presentation of nutritious and healthy meals
  • Manage food stock and inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Supervise kitchen staff and provide coaching and guidance as needed
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas
Requirements
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Excellent understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassion and empathy for residents with dementia and other care needs
