Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team at a leading food manufacturer in Boston. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the ordering and management of ingredients, packaging, and kitchen supplies to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Support the culinary team in preparing and presenting food products, adhering to quality and presentation standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new recipes and menu items, working closely with the culinary team.

Requirements:

  • Food Safety Level 2 certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in the restaurant industry.
  • Intermediate level of English proficiency.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle for occasional benchmark shopping.
