About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Head of Data Engineering to lead our data engineering team and drive the development of scalable and efficient data pipelines. As a key member of our data team, you'll work closely with our data science team to ensure the availability of high-quality data for reporting and analytics purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with data and product teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical data requirements.
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data pipeline by implementing robust data validation and monitoring processes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and execute data engineering initiatives that drive business value.
Requirements

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced data engineer with a strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes. You'll have hands-on experience with data engineering tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, Apache Spark, Hadoop, and cloud-based data platforms.

As a leader, you'll have a proven track record of delivering data engineering solutions that meet business requirements and drive measurable impact. You'll also have experience working in agile development environments and be familiar with agile methodologies and practices.
