About the Job

We are looking for a Senior Health professional to join our Respiratory Department at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our department.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist respiratory care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of respiratory conditions. They will also be expected to lead a team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to respiratory care.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing patients with respiratory conditions and a proven track record of leading teams. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To provide specialist respiratory care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of respiratory conditions.
  2. To lead a team of healthcare professionals in the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  3. To develop and implement policies and procedures related to respiratory care.
  4. To work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless care pathways for patients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Physiotherapy or Nursing and registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Significant post-registration experience in a respiratory specialty area.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
