Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Linwood Community Child Care. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, engaging experiences for children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of children aged 0-5 years
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a nurturing and inclusive environment
  • Provide individualized support to children with diverse needs and abilities
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in early childhood education
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and research

Requirements:

  • Hold a HNC in Childhood Practice or SVQ level 3 in Early Learning and Childcare or equivalent
  • Have at least 2 years' qualified experience within a Nursery environment
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge of child development and the Curriculum for Excellence
  • Be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service
