About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team at Compass Group UK. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager in maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Oversee the preparation and service of food, ensuring that all dishes meet our quality and presentation standards.
  • Manage kitchen cleanliness, allergen awareness, and COSHH management to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement effective staffing rotas, menu building, and stock management to optimize kitchen efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to achieve budget targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
