About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Estimation Expert to join our client's civil engineering business based in Barnsley.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers and partners.
  • Preparing and managing project budgets and schedules.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Developing and implementing effective cost management strategies.
  • Coordinating with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in construction estimation or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of NEC 3 forms of Contract.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with planning software such as P6 and MS Project.
