Warehouse Operative Opportunity

Measham Area

We are seeking a reliable and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team in Measham. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a variety of areas, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and supply chain coordination.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse environment, with a strong focus on attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and storing goods in a safe and efficient manner
  • Checking orders accurately and ensuring timely dispatch
  • Unloading containers and breaking down shipments
  • Picking, packing, and dispatching goods
  • Checking in of goods and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Sorting and storing away products in a clean and organized manner
  • Reporting any discrepancies or problems to the line manager immediately
  • Participating in stock takes and other warehouse activities as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
  • Good numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
