Employability Skills Trainer

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Employability Skills Trainer to join our team at Standguide. As a nationwide market leader, we have been dedicated to supporting individuals and employers across the UK for over three decades.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored training programmes to support learners in their journey towards sustainable employment
  • Collaborate with Employment Advisors and Employers to identify training needs and assess learners against accredited qualification criteria
  • Provide follow-up support and track outcomes to ensure ongoing success
  • Implement differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and effectively manage the classroom to ensure an engaging and productive learning environment
  • Design and manage training timetables with the Business Manager/s based on programme and Learner needs
Requirements:
  • Level 2 English and Maths as a minimum
  • A recognised teaching/training qualification or studying for one (City and Guilds 7407 or 7304, PTLLS/CTLLS/DTLLS/Level 3 Award in Education)
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, performance-target-driven environment
  • Experience of being accountable for own work, e.g., following lesson plans/filling courses with learners
  • Minimum of 2 years experience of delivering courses/working in a training environment
