Job Description:
A Field Service Engineer will play a crucial role in our success by providing on-site technical support to our clients. The primary responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing complex water and wastewater treatment systems, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring optimal system performance.
Additionally, the successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering solutions, participate in equipment installations, and provide training to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for water and wastewater treatment systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex system issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct preventative maintenance activities to minimize system downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering solutions.
- Assist with equipment installations and commissioning activities.
- Train customers on the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment systems.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess good IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to stay organised whilst multi-tasking. Additionally, they should be able to fault find both electrically and mechanically, and be hands-on with installation, repair, modification work which includes various pipe work formats, electrical control systems installed across Industrial, Food & Beverage and Health Care sectors.
