**Key Responsibilities:**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all quarrying operations on site, with a focus on safety, cost control, and performance improvement.

You'll lead and manage Tarmac and contractor personnel working on site, prioritizing safety above all else.

Your responsibilities will include managing compliance with business policies and procedures, ensuring legislative compliance, and maintaining site health and safety documents.

You'll also be responsible for coaching and developing the operational team, leading change and continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining disciplined stock management processes and operational reports.

Proactive management of mandatory and developmental training for your onsite team is also a key aspect of this role.

You'll collate and report on monthly performance KPIs for your business unit, driving operational performance through KPIs.

**Requirements:**

You'll have experience working in an operational management role within the Quarrying or Asphalt sector.

You'll have full knowledge of Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work Systems, as well as a working knowledge of production processes and Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.

Strong IT skills, preferably with working knowledge of SAP, are also essential.

IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications would be advantageous.
