This is an exciting opportunity to manage fuel quality at a leading energy company, with additional responsibilities at a new site. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day obligations within fuel supply agreements, conduct supplier visits, audits, and inspections, and support the operations team in monitoring and reporting non-conforming waste/fuel quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee fuel supply agreements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular supplier visits, audits, and inspections to ensure quality standards are met
  • Support the operations team in monitoring and reporting non-conforming waste/fuel quality
  • Monitor samples for compliance with calorific value and REGOs
  • Coordinate fuel delivery schedules and manage logistics when the plant is offline

Requirements:

  • Relevant waste management qualification such as WAMITAB or COTC preferred
  • IOSH or NEBOSH certification
  • Experience with fuel supply agreements or contracts
  • Strong contract and commercial management skills, including bids and KPI monitoring
  • Knowledge of the UK waste market and related policies/legislation
