Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Management Supervisor to join our team at SUEZ. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assisting site supervisors with the day-to-day management of a large team, ensuring daily production targets are achieved and production time is maximized at the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist site supervisors with employee inductions, briefings, and training
  • Manage and maintain shift logs and provide daily feedback on performance to teams
  • Carry out waste acceptance checks on incoming material and reject as required in line with customer contracts
  • Ensure segregation of recyclable materials at the facility is maximized
  • Manage housekeeping activities to ensure all are carried out in a safe manner and conform to safe systems of work and company policies
  • Continuously promote a culture and operating process that keeps focus on health and safety, ensuring SUEZ complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety, and welfare of its employees
  • Ensure all work equipment within their area is used and maintained in a safe manner, all defects reported, and a high standard of housekeeping is maintained

Requirements

  • Experience in Waste Management, Risk Assessment, and Health and Safety
  • Hold or be expected to achieve the ISOH Managing Safely Qualification
  • Hold mobile plant licenses and COTO qualification
  • Be computer literate
