Senior Design Engineer Opportunity

Bennett and Game Recruitment are working with a well-established sheet metal fabrication company based in the Warrington area, who are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out project design and manufacturing drawings using Solidworks and AutoCAD
  • Managing project and design programmes to ensure cost and quality goals are met
  • Leading a small design team
  • Creating Bill of Materials and cost estimates
  • Contributing to project management meetings on design progress
  • Providing on-site support where design input is required
  • Occasionally carrying out site surveys at customer premises

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in an Engineering, Construction or Manufacturing related field
  • Based in a commutable distance of Warrington
  • Experience with building information modelling is desirable
  • Proficient in the use of Solidworks and AutoCAD
  • Experience within a sheet metal fabrication industry is desirable

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary £40,000 - £45,000 - depending on experience
  • Flexible working hours
