Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Shift Supervisor to join our team at Scantec Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage production teams to achieve production targets and maintain high levels of quality and safety.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and control production schedules, inventory levels, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety, food safety, and quality regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
  • Provide coaching and training to production team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans to drive growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a production leadership role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex production issues.
  • Knowledge of health and safety, food safety, and quality regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance.
