Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Equipment Specialist to join our team at CTDI. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and assembling complex electronic devices using a variety of tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic and Repair: Use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair complex electronic devices, including fault finding, component level diagnosis, and repair.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance procedures to ensure that all devices meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs and testing procedures, including documentation of any issues or problems encountered.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with other technical staff and management to ensure that all technical issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Technical Qualifications: Hold a recognized qualification in electronics engineering, equivalent to ONC/HNC, and have a strong understanding of electronic principles and practices.
  • Technical Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a production environment, with a strong background in electronics repair and testing.
  • Soft Skills: Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IPC Standards Familiarity: Have a strong understanding of IPC standards and practices.
  • Measurement Instrumentation: Be proficient in the use of measurement instrumentation, including oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and spectrum analyzers.
