Early Years Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at the University of Dundee Nursery Ltd. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children from birth to five years.
Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver engaging learning experiences that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each child. This will involve observing, documenting, and assessing children's progress, planning personalized next steps, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of our curriculum.
We are looking for an individual with a genuine passion for child-centred care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment. Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver high-quality learning experiences that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each child.
- Observe, document, and assess children's progress, planning personalized next steps.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of our curriculum.
- Manage a group of key children, maintaining accurate records and writing professional reports.
- Contribute to the development of our nursery's policies and procedures.
- HNC in Childhood Practice or equivalent.
- Proven experience in an early years setting, particularly with the Pre-birth to Three, Curriculum for Excellence, and GIRFEC frameworks.
- Eligibility for registration with SSSC and membership of the PVG scheme.
