Early Years Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at the University of Dundee Nursery Ltd. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children from birth to five years.
Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver engaging learning experiences that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each child. This will involve observing, documenting, and assessing children's progress, as well as planning personalized next steps to support their development.
Collaboration with our nursery team is essential, as you will contribute fresh ideas and reflect on practices to ensure continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for managing a group of key children, maintaining accurate records, and writing professional reports for internal and external use.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A HNC in Childhood Practice or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in an early years setting, particularly with the Pre-birth to Three, Curriculum for Excellence, and GIRFEC frameworks.
- A genuine passion for child-centred care, with the ability to listen to and advocate for children's needs.
- Strong collaborative skills, with the initiative to contribute effectively within a dynamic team environment.
- Eligibility for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme.
