This role supports the EMEA region, encompassing all general accounting tasks and contributing to the development and maintenance of procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Posting cash receipts daily onto an internal system to maintain accurate financial records.
  2. Assisting in the Trust Accounting process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Supporting bank account reconciliations on a weekly basis to prevent any discrepancies.
  4. Preparing balance sheet reconciliations to provide a clear picture of the company's financial situation.
  5. Contributing to month-end processes, including creating and posting month-end journals to close out accounts.
  6. Providing support to Finance Managers as required to facilitate smooth operations.
  7. Planning workload and meeting deadlines while working collaboratively or independently to achieve goals.
  8. Building relationships through effective internal and external communication to foster a positive work environment.
  9. Performing general administration and ad hoc reporting tasks to support the team.
Required Skills
  1. A background in a similar role is ideal, with experience in general accounting and financial operations.
  2. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are essential to maintain accurate records and prevent errors.
  3. AAT or similar qualifications are preferable, demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting principles.
  4. Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, are necessary to manage and analyse financial data.

The estimated salary for this position is £42,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
