Job Opportunity: Night Support Worker in Yarnton

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Night Support Worker to join our team at Venn Group. This is a challenging yet rewarding role working within our supported housing services on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within a residential setting with women who have complex needs and/or past traumas
  • Engage with the women providing emotional support and deal with any incidents at night
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and conduct handovers with day staff
  • Monitor and administer clients' medication
  • Deal with issues and escalate to the on-call manager or police if required
  • Maintain fire safety standards and ensure all smoke detectors are working correctly

Requirements:

  • An Enhanced DBS from within the last year
  • Experience or an interest in working with vulnerable people
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft packages
