Supporting Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

In this role as a Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a Year 5 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a vibrant primary school in Brent. The successful candidate will need to have proven experience working with children with ASD or Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school setting.

Job Overview

This is a long-term to permanent position, offering a competitive salary of £90-£110 per day.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Work one-to-one with the pupil to provide tailored support and develop strategies to improve their social interactions and relationships with peers.
  2. Collaborate with the pupil's family and other educational professionals to ensure the pupil's emotional and educational needs are met.
  3. Contribute to creating a calm and structured learning environment for the pupil and their peers.
