We are seeking a highly organized administrator to join our team as a Governance and Administration Specialist.

The role involves supporting the Company Secretary with corporate governance and administration of the Board and its Assurance Committees.

The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, be able to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

  • Accurate record-keeping for Committee, Board and Regional meetings, with clear and concise action points and audit trails.
  • Lead on the distribution and follow-up of actions via the Action Tracker.
  • Ensure that Board and Committee documents are retained in accordance with the Corporate Record Retention Policy.
  • Maintain the online Conflicts of Interest system and extract data for annual compliance reports.
  • Deliver training and mentoring to new administrators on the Assurance and Management Committee structure.
  • Evaluate and implement procedures to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £28,000-£32,000 per annum.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems, including database management software.
