A highly respected Specialist Music School in the UK, Wells Cathedral School, is on a mission to find a seasoned Director of Development and Head of Foundation who can help secure its long-term future through strategic fundraising.

Main Focus Areas
  • Develop a robust fundraising strategy that aligns with best practices and the School's objectives, driving growth and impact.
  • Bolster the Foundation's position as the central charity in the School's fundraising ecosystem, cultivating strong ties with alumni, parents, and supporters.
  • Directly engage with donors, leveraging the School's global reputation and unique offering to drive fundraising success, in partnership with the Head Master and Foundation Trustees.
  • Create a thriving network of alumni and friends, involving them in the School's fundraising and Foundation work through innovative approaches.
  • Ensure the effective management and development of the Toucan Tech CRM and community website, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Expand existing donor networks and establish new connections, fostering growth and sustainability.
  • Rally fundraising volunteers from alumni, parents, former parents, and other supporters, tapping into their passion and expertise.
  • Guarantee the Wells Cathedral School Foundation meets its financial targets, providing sustained support and momentum.
