Biotechnology Researcher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Protein Development Scientist to join our team at Piramal Group. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for planning and executing experiments to develop fit-for-purpose processes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Development: Design and conduct experiments to develop new protein-based products and processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of experimental results.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality control, and research and development, to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication of results.
• Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training and guidance to new team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as molecular biology, biochemistry, or biotechnology.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a research and development or quality control role, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of protein modification and conjugation chemistry techniques, protein structure and function, and organic chemistry. Excellent data interpretation and analytical skills, with the ability to write and present complex scientific information effectively.
