Molecular Biologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Protein Development Specialist to join our team at Piramal Group. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for planning and executing experiments to develop fit-for-purpose processes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Development: Design and conduct experiments to develop new protein-based products and processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of experimental results.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality control, and research and development, to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication of results.
• Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training and guidance to new team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a research and development or quality assurance role, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of protein modification and conjugation chemistry techniques, protein structure and function, and organic chemistry. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
