Job Description

As a Senior Landscape Design Manager at Mattinson Partnership, you will play a crucial role in leading our landscape architecture team to deliver high-quality projects that exceed client expectations.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced landscape architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, leadership, and team collaboration.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with excellent communication and organisational abilities to lead our design and planning teams. Your expertise in project delivery, client engagement, and business development will be key to the success of this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading project conceptual development and technical execution;
  • Overseeing preliminary site studies and ensuring alignment with client specifications;
  • Developing detailed plans and working drawings using CAD Revit or similar software;
  • Managing project delivery, including creating and managing project plans, coordinating monthly project invoicing, and participating in financial tracking meetings;
  • Presenting proposals, addressing enquiries, and negotiating amendments with clients;
  • Writing fee proposals and demonstrating commercial awareness in project programming and resource allocation;
  • Participating in senior management and pod/squad meetings to ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation;
  • Engaging in thought leadership and QA groups to contribute to the firm's strategic direction;
  • Driving new business generation and contributing to the strategic growth of the company;
  • Representing the firm at marketing events and conferences.
