">We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Patient Care Transport Specialist to join our team in Coventry & Warwickshire. As a key member of our Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of patients with varying mobilities to and from treatment centers or other venues as directed.
">The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting patients, manually handling them when necessary, and providing care and assistance as required. This may involve carrying patients (including stairs), wheeling them in a chair or on a stretcher, and escorting them to and from the vehicle. The safe transportation of these patients is paramount, and you will be expected to secure patients, wheelchairs, stretchers, etc., in the vehicles.
">You will drive a variety of vehicles, including cars, ambulances, and other vehicles, and maintain accurate records and reports, including Patient Transport Records, Accident Reports, and Incident Reports, etc. These may be both paper and electronic. You will also undertake required training to maintain acceptable standards and quality of care.
">Our ideal candidate will have a good standard of general education, with a minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English or be willing to undertake a level 2 qualification within the first 12 months in post. They will also possess a full clean manual driving license (showing no more than 3 points) and experience of working within a public service or customer care environment, as well as experience of driving a variety of vehicles.
