As an Electronics Engineer - Equipment Installation and Maintenance, you will be responsible for providing technical support to shift equipment engineers covering all areas of silicon wafer processing equipment, package and test.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in equipment installations, improvements, and solve underlying equipment issues.
  • Provide technical support to shift equipment engineers covering all areas of silicon wafer processing equipment, package and test.
  • Responsible for producing all risk assessments for all equipment.
  • Host and control of contractors, reviewing their method statements and risk assessments, issuing a permit to work.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a multi-disciplined role with a strong electronics skill.
  • Educated with a minimum of HNC in electronics.
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to manage their own time and workload efficiently.

Working Environment:

This role requires working in a cleanroom environment, wearing Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) after passing a medical and receiving training. Non-smokers are preferred, and the wearing of make-up is not allowed.
