About the Store Manager Role

Morrisons is seeking a talented Store Manager to lead our store in Derby, driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing strategic initiatives to enhance store performance, profitability, and customer experience.
  • Listening to customer and colleague feedback, using it to inform decisions and drive positive change.
  • Cultivating a high-performance culture through talent development, succession planning, and supportive leadership.
  • Collaborating with the Head Office team to ensure optimal availability on the high street and establishing Morrisons as a one-stop shopping destination.
  • Building strong relationships with the local community, marketing the store to stand out as a pillar in the community.

About You

We are looking for a Store Manager with:

  • Experience managing a store in a fast-paced food retail environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to listen, coach, and give feedback.
  • A passion for spotting and driving talent, creating a successful team culture.
  • The ability to resolve challenges, build trust, and set clear objectives aligned with Morrisons priorities.
  • A natural ability to foster collaboration and drive results-oriented behavior.
