**Key Responsibilities**

  • Proactively identify and approach potential major donors, building long-term relationships to secure significant income for the charity.
  • Develop and implement tailored engagement and stewardship strategies to deliver exceptional levels of donor satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Head of Fundraising to contribute towards the charity's ambition to secure significant income and achieve its plans.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a cohesive approach to fundraising and maximize opportunities for growth.

**Requirements**

  • Experience of proactively approaching prospects and building long-term relationships, preferably with philanthropists or family foundations.
  • Strong understanding of philanthropy and fundraising principles, with a proven track record of securing significant income.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the charity.
