About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Mirion Technologies UK. As a key member of our Technologies Division, EMEA and Asia, you will play a critical role in the development, analysis, and validation of Mechanical designs in accordance with product specification and project scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and guide Mechanical Engineers to enhance their skills and contribute to the company's growth.
  • Provide high-quality oversight of mechanical discipline, including administrative requirements.
  • Lead mechanical aspects of Design reviews with internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate mechanical components with other design specialties.
  • Develop and maintain accurate part and assembly models, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct design verification and functional testing to ensure product reliability and safety.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and calculations to support product development and compliance verification.
Requirements
  • Minimum degree level in a relevant field.
  • Strong experience in mechanical design and development using 2D and 3D CAD software.
  • Good knowledge of RoHS and electrical/electronic technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and project management skills.
  • Ability to review and prioritize workload with stakeholders.
