Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team at a busy machinery manufacturer. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and testing of complex machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret 2D and 3D CAD drawings to inform assembly and installation processes.
  • Assemble and install machinery using a range of hand and power tools, including lathes and milling machines.
  • Develop and implement methodical approaches to assembly and installation to ensure high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues on new products and technologies.
  • Travel to sites in the UK and Europe for installation and maintenance work, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Hold a valid driving license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
Requirements
  • Strong technical background and experience in mechanical assembly and installation.
  • Ability to read and understand CAD drawings and technical specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
